Carmel is a Catholic Sixth Form College welcoming students of all faiths and from all backgrounds. We are committed to developing a community where personal qualities are highly valued and where each student is enabled to reach their potential feeling supported, safe and happy during their time here.

Over the years, Carmel has gone from strength to strength and has gained a national reputation for the quality of its provision. The last Ofsted inspection rated Carmel as "Outstanding in all aspects of its provision." The college was also awarded Beacon Status for outstanding performance.
Students at Carmel have achieved outstanding results for many years and the college continues to provide excellence in teaching and learning in order to maintain these high standards. As such, Carmel has a national reputation as one of the foremost providers of sixth form education in the country. In fact, Carmel is rated in the top 5% of schools and colleges nationally! (ALPS)
